Gently clean your jewelry with warm water, gentle soap and a very soft brush (such as a soft toothbrush.) Finish with a soft polishing cloth to bring out the luster. Do not use harsh chemicals.
If your piece has a patina or any hand painting, use a soft jewelry polishing cloth only to lightly buff and clean. Patinas change over time and that is the normal nature of any patina.
Keep your jewelry away from direct contact or application of perfume, hairspray and lotions.
Proper care ensures you will enjoy your jewelry through a lifetime.
Carved Wood Sculptures:
My original and one-of-a-kind fine art wood carvings should be displayed out of any direct sunlight through the day, and away from all direct heat sources, including wood stoves, radiators, baseboards, and forced hot air registers.
Clean your carving by delicately dusting with a small, very soft bristle brush (such as a small, new, dedicated dusting paint brush). Alternatively, you can touchlessly dust your art piece with dry, compressed air (such as an air compressor with low pressure set). Canned compressed air is not recommended for dusting or cleaning your carving, due to the propellents used and condensation effects (especially in higher humidity air) which can cause 'moisture spitting' upon use.
Do not use ANY cleaners, water, or liquids to clean your carving. Dry dust with soft, clean brush, cloth or compressed air only.
If you must handle your piece, do so with gentle care. Consider placement carefully, and avoid high-traffic spots or vulnerable settings. Wall mounted pieces should be securely hung from a properly anchored hook of which capability exceeds the weight of the piece.
With proper care, your fine art carving will be enjoyed for many generations.
Loon Print:
Upon purchase, professionally mat and frame under glass before display. UV filtering glass is strongly recommended. Display in a spot outside of direct sunlight, including traveling daylight sun.
If holding or storing your print before framing, keep in original shipping tube. Handle carefully as little as possible before framing. Store in a climate controlled, dry area.
With proper mounting and display, this print will hang with grace for a future century.
