The Maine Loon

If one image could identify award winning Maine artist Robert M. Doucette (1930-2021), it would be this—the iconic great northern loon. This first and only printing from 1989 captures the majesty of Bob's original acrylic painting. Issued as the first in a planned series of prints featuring Maine birds, sadly this was the only print to ever be produced.

This 25" by 34" (21" by 28" image size) print is shipped in a full polyethylene sleeve and ready to be matted and framed. It includes the original color 'About the Artist' brochure, as well as a numbered, personally signed certificate of authenticity from his daughter and second generation Maine artist, Susan Doucette.
